My youngest niece is turning one in August, but her daddy leaves for Afghanistan this weekend. So my sister had to celebrate early, so daddy would be there to celebrate with us. She decided to go with a "bee" theme. It turned out SOOO cute.
As if you couldn't tell already...Miss Jaycee is a Country Girl at heart. She wanted a camo birthday with some pink decorations. So her mom called and asked if there was SOME way we could incorporate the two. And this is what we came up with. Jaycee loved the camo leafs, and her "camo" party!
Since the last post, I have probably made a gazillion zebra cakes some alike and some with a slightly different look. But all turned out to be pretty good looking birthday cakes. Here are just a few.
One of my good friends, Anna, who I had mentioned before threw an awesome 1st Birthday party for her sweet little boy Hudson. I was honored when she asked me to make "the first birthday cake". She knew exactly what she wanted, and made it extremely easy on me.
I think Hudson enjoyed the cake as well as we all enjoyed watching him dig and smash into it :)
I usually do cakes that are just for fun or cute, but this one was different. It was supposed to be all white and very classy. I was a little nervous since this is not what is typically asked from me. At the end of the day I was happy with the finnished product.
The Pac Man cupcakes were made for Jake he is our media guy at the church and video game crazy. The other was a baby shower cake for Anna, a friend of ours when she was expecting her sweet baby boy Hudson.
Although this cake was made for a 13th birthday party, since our first post of this picture we have had many people request the same cake but for different events. Butter cream and fondant icings were used. Oh yeah....No animals were harmed during the makig of this cake :)
